Bolton Wide has the complete land asset - a range of sites well located in the North West and able to satisfy a variety of different types of investment in the next decade. The potential development area totals some 80 hectares, and a number of sites are available for development now with a total area of 15 hectares. The remainder will be brought on stream in a rolling programme over the next 10 years. .

The sites are all characterised by excellent access to the M61 which lies at the heart of North West England's motorway network, giving good access to the rest of the country. Horwich Parkway Station, close to the Reebok Stadium, was built specifically to serve the area. It has direct hourly services to Manchester Airport, which is only 30 minutes away by motorway.

West Bolton is already a key location for major successful employers, including Georgia Pacific, Watson's Steel, Anker Systems, dabs.com and Royal Bank of Scotland. New investors will be joining this thriving business community. Hitachi have located their engine research and production facility at one of the Bolton Wide sites at Middlebrook. Bolton Wanderers' Reebok Stadium, with its excellent exhibition and conference facilities, is situated adjacent to M61 junction 6, together with associated retail and leisure development. Development is currently under way at a number of the other sites
